Dans les groupes de Death Métal Mélodique qui font parler d'eux, on trouve Insomnium, un "jeune" groupe qui a pour l'instant sorti un seul album, Above The Weeping World. Le son se rapproche pas mal de Dark Tranquillity, tout en étant différent. J'ai beau être un inconditionnel de Dark Tranquillity, j'avoue que plusieurs chansons d'Insomnium m'ont profondément marqués et font partie des mes chansons favorites.
